CCCAP Families

The YMCA partners with the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP) which provides child care assistance to families who are working, searching for employment, or are in training, and families who are enrolled in the Colorado Works program and need child care services to support their efforts toward self-sufficiency. CCCAP provides families access to reduced cost child care at licensed child care facilities like the YMCA.

Summer Camp 2023

CCCAP Families CANNOT register online, CCCAP families MUST contact their caseworker   to get pre-authorized for Summer Camp 2023. CCCAP does not authorize care until 45 days from the start of the program.

CCCAP spots are limited. You will not be able to register for Summer Camp until we receive CCCAP Authorization for the correct location. Without authorization you will be responsible for the full cost of camp.

If you are interested in CCCAP, please complete the form below. THIS DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR CHILD A SPOT, IT ONLY ADDS YOU TO OUR LISTS. We will contact you with more information as it comes available. Please email childcare@denverymca.org with any questions.

Out of School Time Care 2023

If you are a family currently approved for CCAP, there are two steps to registration.

  • You will be contacted by YMCA staff to verify your previous OST enrollment and to receive a promotional code to use for online registration.
  • Register for your requested school location online.

Important: Enrollment in the OST program is contingent upon your approval and verification of your acceptance in CCAP for 2023-2024 school year and capacity at the school location.

What is CCCAP?

How does CCCAP operate at the Y?

It is important to note that we offer a limited number of CCCAP spots in our Out of School Time programs.

Our CCCAP Interest List for the academic year opens at the beginning of July.

We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, where families may request to be added to the list for one of our CCCAP eligible sites and start the registration process.

Do CCCAP families register their children online?

CCCAP families do not register online! If and when you are offered an official spot, we will initiate the registration process with you that is unique to CCCAP families.

Please do not register online as you will be charged full-price and end up accountable for the balance!

What is the difference between CCCAP and the Y’s Financial Assistance Scholarship?

CCCAP is a social service that offers financial assistance to families in the form of government subsidies paid directly to a child’s child care provider. The Y offers financial assistance to families using funds we have raised through the generosity of our donors. CCCAP and the Y’s scholarship may not be used simultaneously.

Not all program locations are CCCAP-eligible and we have limited slots that are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
