YMCA OF METRO DENVER: MEMBERSHIP POLICIES

TOP THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
  • Members are required to maintain an active membership status through one automatic bill cycle before eligible to cancel membership.
  • A cancellation notice is required on the 25th of the month in order to cancel membership. Failure to provide cancellation notice on or before the 25th  of any given month will result in reoccurring fees to continue.
  • It is upon the discretion of the member(s) to utilize facility amenities and YMCA services. Refunds will be denied for membership dues related to facility usage.
  • Annual memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. These are binding contracted memberships. Once you purchase an annual membership you are locked in for 12 consecutive months. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
  • Nationwide benefits include access only up to 28 free visits for the Nationwide member. After the 28th visit, a daily drop in rate can be charged or the individual can join membership at the YMCA of Metro Denver.
  • Program registrations – members receive up to 40% off on programming. Program participants must remain active members throughout the program to maintain the member rate. Failure to do so will result in the difference of the non-member rate being due at point of cancellation.
  • When purchasing a membership after a program registration – refunds for the difference of the member rate are not approved; to get the member rate on programming you must be an active member at time of purchase.
  • If you cancel your membership while you have an active program enrollment/registration, the difference of the amount of the non-member rate is due. Again, you must be an active member during point of purchase and throughout the duration of the program to be eligible to keep the member rate/discount.
  • Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, Active & Fit, GymPass, Silver & Fit, and Y-Starter members are not eligible for EGYM access, however a $10 monthly fee can be billed in order to get EGYM access if you have one of these membership types
  • Minors (ages 13 -17) are not eligible to purchase a membership without a legal parent or guardian present.

The surcharge is not applicable to debit or gift cards. Additionally, we will no longer accept American Express as a new payment method.
