Check In Procedure Denver YMCA Check In Procedure Denver YMCA

At the YMCA of Metro Denver, the safety and well-being of every child, family and guest is our top priority. As part of our ongoing commitment to youth protection and community trust, we are implementing a new Spectator Pass Policy for non-members at all of our YMCA of Metro Denver wellness centers.

This policy aligns with national best practices in child safety and supports standards required for Praesidium Accreditation, a leading benchmark in child abuse prevention.

All non-members visiting Denver YMCA facilities must:

  • Secure a Spectator Pass — online or at the Front Desk. There is no charge for the Spectator Pass. Spectator Passes are valid for one year. Click your location below to purchase.

  • Upon securing a Spectator Pass, spectators will be prompted to sign a waiver of liability.

  • On the first visit, they will be asked to present a valid photo ID at the Front Desk and also get their photo taken.

  • For every visit to the Y going forward, they are expected to check in and out of the facility. (More details below.)

  • Like members and participants, spectators must follow the Denver YMCA’s Code of Conduct and all posted policies.
