YMCA Volleyball League

Learn the fundamentals of serving, bumping, and setting in a fun atmosphere. Volleyball promotes sportsmanship and teamwork as well as individual development. Volleyball is a sport that has many health benefits which include strengthening the cardiovascular and respiratory systems as well as improving hand-eye coordination.

Locations: 

Aurora YMCA (Outdoor League)

  • 3rd-5th Grade Coed Division
    Practices are on Tuesdays.
  • 6th-8th Grade Coed Division
    Practices are on Tuesdays.Littleton YMCA

Littleton YMCA (Indoor League)

  • 3rd-5th Grade Coed Division
    Practices could be on Thursdays or Fridays.
  • 6th-8th Grade Coed Division
    Practices could be on Thursdays or Fridays.
  • High School Coed Division 
    No practices, Sunday Game Only League

Southwest YMCA (Indoor League)

  • 3rd-5th Grade Coed Division
    Practices could be on Thursdays or Fridays.
  • 6th-8th Grade Coed Division
    Practices could be on Thursdays or Fridays.

Divisions:

  • 3 - 5 Grade Coed
  • 6 - 8 Grade Coed
  • HS Volleyball (9 - 12 Grade) Division (Littleton Only)

Program Details: 

  • 6 Weeks 
  • 1 Hour long practice per week 
  • Arvada, Littleton and Southwest Games played on Saturdays
  • Aurora Games played on Wednesdays
  • Games played typically at the YMCA you register at, sometimes when leagues combine with other leagues travel will occur.

Equipment Needed: 

  • Knee Pads
  • Athletics Shorts/Pants
  • Tennis Shoes

Jersey will be provided on the first day of games
