The YMCA of Metro Denver announced Erin MacGuire, CPA, as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer, replacing Dave Eberly who was serving as interim CFO. As CFO and member of the executive leadership team, MacGuire oversees and manages financial matters and investments and provides strategic direction and leadership for YMCA business operations to ensure efficiency, sustainability and operational growth. She will also be responsible for overseeing managed service vendors for IT and finance and lead the IT and system administration and business analytics teams.
MacGuire brings with her extensive executive financial leadership experience, spearheading growth initiatives and maximizing corporate financial opportunities. Prior to joining the Y’s executive team, she previously held positions as Vice President of Finance for Tilled, Inc. a payment processing provider in Broomfield, and as Chief Financial Officer for Big Green, a Boulder non-profit organization connecting kids to real food through a nationwide network of learning gardens and food literacy programs.
She relocated to Colorado more than a decade ago from the East Coast and has a perspective shared by many Coloradans who were drawn to the state because of it’s outdoor lifestyle and focus on healthy living.
