From first splash to water safe, our community-centered event gives youth a hands-on introduction to essential water safety skills, building confidence and life-saving abilities aligned with YMCA Swim Basics.
To celebrate 150 years of impact and the 5-year anniversary of our Aurora YMCA, we’re offering 150 youth a FREE Community Swim Lesson.
SAFETY AROUND WATER AT THE Y
The Y wants to ensure all families are ready for a fun and safe summer. To do that, we're helping families become "Water-Ready" by developing water safety skills that help reduce the risk of drowning and build confidence and competence in and around water.
WHEN: Aurora YMCA, 6100 Kewaunee Way, Aurora, CO
WHERE: Saturday, May 16, 2026 | 9 - Noon
COST: FREE for up to 150 youth ages 3 to 12
