The following programs are available at the Arvada, Aurora, Downtown, Littleton, Southwest and University Hills YMCA locations in the metro area:


SilverSneakers® is a preventative exercise program that enhances the quality of life for mature adults across the country. One of the largest senior-focused exercise programs in the United States, this partnership between HCD and HMOs allows Medicare-eligible members of these health plans to participate in YMCA programs at little to no additional cost. Silver & Fit®

Silver & Fit® provides eligible members with no-cost memberships through arrangements with certain health care plans. Silver & Fit is designed to help seniors achieve better health through regular exercise and health education. Visit for more information. 

Active & Fit Enterprise™

Active & Fit Enterprise™ is offered by health plans to their employer groups, and directly to employer groups and other organizations that are interested in providing a financial subsidy to reduce the overall cost of this program to their employees or affiliated members that are not Medicare Eligible. Active & Fit Direct™

The Active & Fit Direct™ product is offered to health plans, employer groups, associations or other affiliate organizations that have commercial membership or employee populations to provide a member self-pay offering without a subsidy. Active & Fit Direct is only available if the sponsoring organization has a secure password protected website where members can access and enroll in the program once a member has logged in. Renew Active™ by UnitedHealthcare

A fitness program to help you live your best life. Renew Active™ from UnitedHealthcare, is available with select Medicare Advantage plans. Designed around you and your goals, Renew Active offers access to participating fitness locations or YMCAs with local and national options. Group fitness classes along with online brain exercises can help keep both your body and your mind active — all at no additional cost. Some YMCA programs may be offered for an additional fee.
