Annual Community Campaign

Strengthening Our Community Together

The YMCA's Annual Community Campaign is a yearly fundraising effort that helps ensure everyone has access to the Y’s programs and services, regardless of their ability to pay. Through the joint effort of donors, volunteers, and staff, we create opportunities for children, families and individuals to learn, grow and thrive.

Why It Matters

Your support helps the YMCA:

  • Provide scholarships so no one is turned away due to financial need.
  • Expand our impact throughout the community.
  • Increase community awareness of the Denver Y’s transformational work.
  • Strengthen programs that change lives every day.

How the Campaign Works

Each year, during the month of March, YMCA community volunteers and staff share the Y's story and invite friends, family, colleagues and community members to support the Denver YMCA. It's about building relationships as much as it is about raising funds.

In 2026, we raised over $175,000 that went directly to funding scholarships for YMCA members and program participants!

Become a Campaign Volunteer

Campaign volunteers help strengthen the YMCA by sharing the Y’s mission and impact and inviting others to support the campaign. Our team will provide all of the tools and support you need to be successful and have fun!

There are many ways to make an impact through the Community Campaign. Whether you have a few hours or more time to give, we’ll help you find a way to get involved that fits your schedule.

Campaign volunteers may choose to:

  • Share the YMCA’s impact with friends, family, and your community
  • Create a personal fundraising page and invite others to support the campaign
  • Make thank-you calls to donors
  • Share campaign updates on social media
  • Participate in campaign events
