The Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit
A Colorado State income tax credit is available to donors who give through the Colorado
Child Care Contribution Credit (CCCC) for the purpose of promoting child care in
Colorado. This tax credit is scheduled to expire in December 2009.
The CCCC promotes child care activities statewide. To qualify for this 50% Colorado State tax credit, donors may designate a gift to the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver or one of our branches.
The YMCA will use investments from the CCCC to:
1) operate existing child care programs,
2) provide scholarships to families who are unable to pay full program fees, and
3) train child care workers.
YMCA Child Care programs include: Infant/Toddler, Early Childhood Education, Preschool,
Kindergarten Before & After School, School-Aged Before & After School, Holiday/Vacation
Child Care, Summer Day Camp, and Teen Camp.
In order to receive this state credit, indicate on your pledge card and/or check
that your gift is designated to the CCCC.
