Experience the natural world through exploration and active involvement. Each week provides hands-on activities including educational field trips and theme days. You will have so much fun, you won’t know you’re learning! At the YMCA, our experienced Camp Counselors offer children a variety of imaginative activities that nurture their spirits, challenge their minds, and strengthen their bodies. With a variety of weekly themes your camper will have an fun and engaging summer while staying active and making new friends.

Due to State of Colorado licensing requirements, registration takes some time and preparation, please click here to read our registration instructions! Online registration takes 20-30 minutes and the system will time out after 40 minutes forcing you to start from the beginning. Please use Firefox or Chrome as your browser.
Deposit and Registration Fee:
Enter a $25 deposit for each session your child will attend, and a one-time $35 registration fee per child. Total all deposits along with the registration fee, and provide one payment for that amount, prior to attending. Weekly deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable

To use CCAP during YMCA Summer Day Camp, please call 720 524 2792 to be added to our list, ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CCAP & SCHOLARSHIP FAMILIES. Not all camps are CCAP eligible, for a list of camps open to CCAP please click here. We have limited space and it's available on a first-come, first serve basis.
All campers must be at least 5 years old at the time of registration, you will not be able to register your child until their fifth birthday. (Exception KINDERCAMP at the Susan M Duncan YMCA in Arvada)
All camps are closed Memorial Day and Fourth of July.
May 30-June 2: It's A Jungle Out There Join us for a week filled with adventure as we learn about animals and habitats.
June 5-9: Color Crazy Do you love all things art? We will learn about color theory, basic techniques and principles of art.
June 12-16: Imagination Station Read new stories that stretch the imagination and come up with some of your own.
June 19-23: Oh the Places You Will Go Travel around the world and discover new cultures.
June 26-30: Culinary Academy Want to learn more about preparing healthy foods? This week is for you!
July 3-7: Crazy Concoctions What happens when you mix together science and camp? A whole lotta fun!
July 10-14: Just Keep Swimming These warm summer days are even better filled with water. Cool down with us as we study all things aquatic.
July 17-21: A Camping We Will Go Learn about camping and outdoor safety. Pretend you're camping as we transform our space into a campground.
July 24-28: Prepare for Take Off Explore the amazing world of flight and make some of your own creations soar.
July 31-Aug 4: Think It, Dream It, Build It Build your own small models using your imagination, and work in teams to build larger than life projects.
