The YMCA of Metropolitan Denver has been serving the metro Denver area since 1875. The life changing work the YMCA does with children, teens, adults, seniors and families would not be possible without the support of thousands of individuals, corporations and foundations. Annual Support Campaign (YMCA Strong Kids Campaign):

At the YMCA, one of our most important goals has always been to enrich the lives of those in our community through the programs we offer. We need your support so we can provide everyone in our community a safe, nurturing place to go. Membership and program fees at the YMCA do not cover all the cost to support our vital community programs. To ensure that no one is denied a chance to participate because of inability to pay, we encourage you to make a donation today to our Strong Kids Campaign. Your donation can make a difference...

$50 will sponsor 2 kids for 7 weeks of preschool/youth fitness classes, teaching exercise is fun at an early age.
$100 will sponsor a child for one week of summer day camp, providing a safe and fun place to stay while parents are at work.
$250 will sponsor 5 children in water safety and basic swimming skills which could save their lives.
$500 will sponsor a senior couple with an annual membership, allowing them to maintain an active lifestyle.
$1,000 will sponsor 2 families with an annual membership so they can spend quality time together.
$2,500 will sponsor 10 youth to play team sports for one year, giving them a great start in a lifetime of fitness.
$5,000 will sponsor 3 children for a year of before and after school child care, giving them a safe place to go after school.
$10,000 will sponsor CASASTART, which is an individualized substance abuse and violence prevention program for at-risk youth and families in Northeast Denver.
